We understand and respect that you are concerned about your privacy. We have established this privacy policy to explain how your information is collected, stored, protected and used. This Policy may be updated from time to time.

1. Collection of Information
Hood Tools collects personal information when you (1) submit information to a neighborhood website, (2) subscribe to the neighborhood newsletter, (3) make a request to contact a sponsor for a neighborhood and (4) when you visit a neighborhood website. In this context, when we collect your email address, it is for purposes such as sending confirmation emails, authenticating user accounts, providing subscription email services, and providing you updates pertaining to the services provided by Hood Tools. Our web logs collect standard web log entries for each page served, including your IP address, page URL, and timestamp. Web logs help us to diagnose problems with our server, to administer the sites, and to otherwise provide our service to you.

2. Data We Store
All submissions are stored in our database, even after "deletion," and may be archived elsewhere. Our web logs and other records are stored indefinitely.

Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe to the newsletter, thereby removing their email from the newsletter subscription list, by accessing the link at the bottom of each monthly newsletter.

Although we make good faith efforts to store the information in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, we cannot guarantee complete security.

3. Privacy Protection
Hood Tools will not sell or otherwise transfer your contact information to third parties without your permission. We do not run pop ups, pop unders. We do not engage in cross-marketing or link-referral programs with other sites. We do not send you unsolicited communications for marketing purposes.

Hood Tools may provide links to third party websites, which may have different privacy practices. We are not responsible for, nor have any control over, the privacy policies of those third party websites, and encourage all users to read the privacy policies of each and every website visited.

4. Use of Private Information
On occasion, Hood Tools may need to communicate with you about changes to the neighborhood website, neighborhood newsletter, or any other service provided by Hood Tools. We will never include third party commercial information in these communications.

From time to time, Hood Tools may disclose aggregate user data to advertisers or other third parties.
